Why Invest in Solar?

Short Answer is

Electricity prices are on the rise, there has never been a better time to consider going solar.

Its affordable more than ever
Government incentives
Its available more than ever
Its the only way to save on electricity costs
Did we mention it adds value to your property
Oh and it is renewable energy it helps our beautiful earth.

Who provides the warranties

Warranties are provided by your manufacturer.

Most Solar inverters come with a standard 5 year warranty.

Panels come with a 25 year warranty.

You can always purchase extended warranty.

Your installer will provide their own warranty usually 10 years.

Will getting solar wipe out my electricity bill?

Depending on your power needs. With a residential property it can give you 50% savings.

When should I change my retailer?

Do not change retailers until after your EWR has been completed and your solar metre is in place by your current retailer.

If you change retailers before your install & EWR is completed, it cancels your current connect application & you would have to submit a NEW connect application & EWR, this process can take a further 45 – 60 days.

How Can You Add Batteries To An Existing Solar System?

Battery storage capable solar PV systems require special wiring and a special inverter in order to interface with the batteries properly.

Inverters that can work with batteries have only been on the market for the last year or two – so chances are very high that many people considering adding batteries to their solar power system does not have one.

Most people (who use average/above-average levels of electricity in their homes) will also need to strongly consider upgrading their current solar power system size if it’s less than 4-5kW – we recommend this as a minimum system size so it can produce enough power on overcast days or in the winter to charge the batteries.
